Dark Circles

I woke up in a tower

Far away from the eyes of another

I saw the abyss from on high

Full of tears of a whore and a liar

Dark circles, you remind me of the boy I was

Frail and innocent hated by everyone

Mirror mirror, can I ever get away?

I’m falling down on the ground heartbroken

Don’t make a sound. Too late now, I have spoken

I realized I was not fine

Living lies for the sake of affection

My mind terrorized at the thought of

Selling out to the wrong generation

Dark circles, you remind me of the day I left

Everything behind but this soul of mine

Mirror mirror, do you see why I couldn’t stay?

I’m falling down on the ground heartbroken

Don’t make a sound. Too late now, I have spoken

Dark circles, you remind me of the boy I was

Frail and innocent

Dark circles, you remind me of the day I left

Everything behind

If one of us has to go, will it be you or me?

I’m not waiting
